Mail from Australia

 I received my wonderful Block from Brenda in Australia. She also send these lovely fabrics. Thank you so much.

Yesterday I meet with my friends to sew. Once a month we do that. I took all my blocks along to show off. They really liked the blocks and the pattern that shows once I laid out all of the blocks. I'm waiting for one more and than I should really get busy. We talked about the borders and what I should use to finish of the quilt. But we are 5 Girls and can you belive it every one has a different opinion. So I might just stay with what I wanted to do before I asked. Lol.

Another wonderful Friendship Block arrived

Now its getting close to the End. Two more Blocks need to find there way to Germany. Its so exciting to receive all those squishy's and to unpack all those great blocks and all the goodies. 

I will have to start on my own block to add to the Quilt. I'm thinking of making a few more than one, to get to the size I want. Which wont be a problem with all the fabric everyone send.

Just letting you know, even so I probably repeating my self.

Squishy with Friendship Block arrived

This wonderful Card, Block and earth color fabric stripes arrived from Margaret in my mailbox yesterday.

I did not had a chance to take a picture until today.

I did lay all the blocks out on the floor today. Its gorgeous looking I tell you. This is going to be a very nice Quilt

Not 1 but 4 Friendship Block's arrived

Today I could not belive my eye's. 4 envelopes in my mailbox.

I got Blocks from Annette, Cath, Anita and Ros.

And everyone of them send beautiful Cards and Goodies along.

I feel like it's Christmas and my Birthday together.

I'm jumping up and down being so happy. My Blocks are all so great.This is going to be a great Quilt.

Caz's Block came in today. Another great Block.

She also send some  great fabric and a nice Card with the block.

I'm sure will use it in finishing this Quilt.

Friendship Block Number 7 made it to Germany

Now look at this great Block coming in the mail today.

I got this Block and this lovely ATC from Jan today. She also included some lovely Charms with it. I really do get spoiled. I would love to show you a picture from the charms. But I'm not able to get a picture without a glare. I will keep trying but here is the picture from the ATC

When I look at all the Blocks I got so far it was really worth the wait for them.

Alison could not decide so she made me two blocks. Am I lucky or what. I like them both and will use them both in my Quilt.

Another great day

Friendship Block 3 came today from Jytte. What a wonderful Block the colors are great. Jytte also added a nice Card and a beautiful little book with it. Its such a gorgeous little book she created I wish you could see and feel it. Thank you soo much Jytte. I love it.I realy do get spoiled.

Now I got already 3 block's to lay out and look at.

Friendship Block 2 made it

So exciting. Now I know what everybody talks about when those squishy's arrive. It's a great feeling.

Today Tessa's block came in the mail. What a nice block, I love the fabric she used.

With the block she send this nice card and some real nice earth colour fabric. I'm getting spoiled.

Row swap and Friendship Block swap

This is the second row that I received. Isn't gorgeous. Thank you so much Jan. I love the colors and it goes great with the first row I got from Jytte. Jan also send this fabulous card along with it.

Then I got my first Friendship Block. About 16 Month ago I signed up for a Friendship block swap. Every month one name got drawn and we had to make one block for that person. Every person had chosen a Theme. (I have a little slide show on the side bar with all the blocks I did for everyone that is in the swap with me). So this month its my turn. ( I had a long wait). My Theme is the Jacobs ladder. So everyone is making me a block with the Jacobs ladder. Kims Block arrived first. This is a lot of fun. Cant wait to put all the blocks together.
