My work in progress for this month is a Quilt designed by Beth Hayes and
called summer at mom's. The pattern is from a McCalls Quilting Magazine. With
this pattern I can use a bunch of my scraps. Lol. They seem to breed in the
boxes.
First I had to cut all the fabric for the the 35 pinwheel's in the middle
of the quilt and sew the half squares.
That went quick so I thought I cut and sew the 124 half squares for the
outer border already too.
Wow I was on the roll.
Ok, than I went ahead to sew the 4 smaller pinwheels for the border
too.
I hope to find time to sew the pinwheels for the middle and put the Quilt
together before the end of this month.
But before I can put the pinwheels for the quilt together I need to sew my
next row for the row swap that I'm in.
Guess what I need to sew - yes , pinwheels but this time
in bright and scrappy colors.

Nice start to your quilt, Kerstin. Have you tried the easy pinwheel method by MissouriQuiltCo,, great if you need two colour pinwheels.
