The Baby Quilt is finished and other things

I told you all I post a picture of the finished Baby Quilt.
I finished the binding so here it is. Just waiting for the Baby
now. lol. But we still have until the end of July.

The Underground rail road sampler is finished also.
Gee I been good. lol. Once I knew how to set the blocks it
just went like a breeze.

thats how I quilted it

on top of that, I had a great long weekend. Today was a German Holiday.
May Day

With a Germany on-line group I sewed into the first of May.
It was great. Just knowing that a bunch of people
sew the same thing.A Table topper. We decided to do the Japanese Puzzle.
It was great to be able to chat about the sewing and problems during sewing
and help each other out.
I got as far as finishing the top.

so here is a sneak preview

hope to get it quilted soon. I used all the left over fabric I had
from the Japanese Garden.

ok thats it for now. I hope you all have a great week

hugs Kerstin

  1. You have been a busy girl! I love the baby quilt and how you quilted around the animals. Looks great! The underground RR quilt is pretty too....as well as the runner. How nice to sew and chat online with friends. I didn't know May 1 was a German holiday. My grandparents were both from Germany!

What a great idea to have an online sew-in quilting bee type of thing. Bet it was great fun to do. The result is brilliant, look forward to seeing it finished soon.
